In the following section the main routes of great cultural and ecological interest, are presented. These tracks, passing through forests, massifs and landscapes of outstanding natural beauty, are forming the natural surroundings for a variety of activities. As such, they subsist in complete harmony with the character and the cultural heritage of every place, while in the same time they bring out and reveal the individual cultural characteristics of each municipality.

Each route is defined by the following:

A)  Its course through geographical landmarks; analytical description of the route.

B)  The important attractions; analytical record and description of sights divided by sector (e.g. temples, castles, museums, historical information etc.)

C)  The sites of interest in the broader area; each route is part of a wider cultural and natural section.
